“Why it might be a killer
This solution will be highly effective to many users that want to organize events and keep track of many tasks. It will be useful for freelancers that are specialized in team-work jobs.”
(Killerstartups)

So maybe we are going to become the next killerapp :-)

Thanks to Killerstartups!

Organize a party with Groupsheet

June 24th, 2009

One wonderful possibility to use Groupsheet is to organize a party.

You can create tasks, what everybody has to bring with or who comes.

Here is an example

Usability fix & mail function

June 21st, 2009

Today we fixed some things at the creation of the new Groupsheets. If you created your Groupsheet successfully you will be directly at the admin page and your Groupsheet information will be shown in a popup-window.

We also added a new feature: mail function. If you entered your email address at the creation, we will send you your links via email.

Groupsheet @ Alles2null.de

June 21st, 2009

The German tech-blog Alles2null.de has written an article about Groupsheet.
You can read it here.

Thanks to Uwe (the Alles2null.de editor) for this article and the really good tips he gave during the development of Groupsheet.

How we got the idea

June 18th, 2009

We had to organize a huge party in December 2007 with over 400 visitors and 60 people who had helped. Everybody should choose a shift he or she likes, like doors, bar, setup etc. . The distribution of the tasks should be a fair process, so what was better than doing it on the internet?
Everybody got the link and was able to register. Most tasks were assigned – in our organization we used Groupsheet (this name hadn’t existed yet) very successful, so we want to share it with the world now!

We created a version for only this event in 2007, but now we programmed a new version with the same usability concept, but now everybody can create his own project or event!

We hope Groupsheet will also be useful for you!

Hello World!

June 18th, 2009

logoToday we started Groupsheet. It’s still beta, so if you find a bug, please report it!

First question, first answer: What is Groupsheet?
With Groupsheet you can create and spread groups which users can choose and register themselves at.

This app can be used to distribute tasks for events or projects.

The only thing to do is create a new sheet and send its link to your folks.

We are very busy, in the near future you will hear more from us!
